Water Safety
Around 400 people die in the UK every year from accidental drowning, with many more affected by non-fatal drowning.
The majority of those lives are lost outdoors and split evenly between the coast and inland, around half of those affected don’t even intend to be in the water.
At Exmouth Beach Rescue Club we want everyone to be able to enjoy the water and all of the health benefits it brings, this starts with being safe and competent.
This page is a good starting to point to plan your day out but please seek further information specific to your activity.
